I'm not sure what set about to inspire this, I wanted a battle bow that has spikes or something that looked like it could be an intimidating melee weapon in addition to being a ranged one. Hunter Bow - This bow had teeth and probably the most modified arrow with that pronged head. Just having some fun with colors and designs to check if things work and this came out looking rather well. Horned Bow - Not like a real horned bow like you saw developed by the ancient Mongolians, but it does have horns (which may look more like mandibles ). Originally I was gonna demon theme this, but it didn't seem to fight, especially with the more metallic look to the actual body.

Gakekeeper - I really wanted to see if I could put a skull on a bow and I pulled it off pretty well here. This is the one bow that doesn't have a dark grey outline, but a deep-blue one to give it a sorta 'glow' effect.

Probably something of true Kokiri Make, if you think about it.įrost Bite - I wanted something ice themed and though the colors would be easy, I wanted to give it a cracked eyes design which I kinda pulled off while at the same time giving it a real 'aura' that seemed cold. I wanted something more green and less flowery, to make up for the lack of colors, I messed with the body a bit and picked an offsetting colors that I rarely use which went rather well with the green, I think. What I was really proud of was how I managed to make it look like there's an actual pulley system at work here with the 'wheels' at the tips.ĭeku Bow - I was worried that this would resemble another boy too much, but really there's something nice about how all the colors and shapes come together. Yes it's very plain, but I didn't have the heart to do anything else to it and risk losing that lookĬomposite Bow - I was just improving on the base design and changing up the color to make something that looks a little better in quality. In the end, I think this is rather gorgeous bow and at prompting of a friend, this was the first one that got the arrows actually looking differentĪqua Bow - I wanted something water themed and the shape and color scheme here really reminds me of a dolphin o_O I'm not sure if anyone will share that, but I think it still game out looking quite nice for how quickly I managed to shell it out ^_^īandit Bow - To more or less represent the Gerudo faction (as I said plenty of Zelda themed here) I have a rag-tag looking bow that seems junked together and easy to reproduce, but like the thieves themselves, it likely doesn't betray it's true finesse and precision.īone Bow - I was honestly just playing around with colors and working on the bows body and then suddenly it looked like some bones that had been put together to make a bow.

As you may have noticed, my pixel work is taking all kinds of new directions and avenues and recently I'm happy to report that I've finally managed something I've never pulled off successfully before.bows!
